"This Is The Way To Integration" - Come On, Sing It With Me
Wedding dad dancing. Mild sexual harassment. Behold a self-promotional video from McCann's Manchester (thank you, anonymous contributor) that gives Ogilvy Athens a run for its money...

"this is the best disintegration" would go better there
They say that it's ironic that advertising agencies are the worst at advertising themselves. This is a brilliant example of that.
Why would anyone give any business or respect to the twats who think this is kind of shit is worth doing? I bet it took a lot of time and effort, and for what? So that the rest of your industry can think you're a bunch of smug pricks with no sense of humour and no work to do.
Imagine being summonsed from your desk: 'C'mon everyone, we're going to do the pitch video dance!' I find it carthartic in that it makes me realise that it's not just my workplace that's run by a bunch of idiots.
the sickening thing about all these films is imagining the icey looks management gave the people who said no.You can bet they were made to feel like party-pooping social inadequates and probably an undermining negative influence on the company culture, they'll be marked down as not being "team players" and when the world wide recession really bites they'll find themselves selling pistachio nuts to tourists at the parthenon. The muppets we're looking at in these films are ultimately the winners.
I freelanced there about 15 years ago. The work was a bit pony but what an incredible place. It's this dirty great stately home in the middle of leafy Cheshire. Tennis courts, swimming pool. There's a brilliant country boozer in the village nearby that shows the Shaston up for the grotty hole that it is. We think that video is terrible but somehow I don't think they give a shit.
You know, some agencies are different. Really. Some agencies ROCK, in case you didn't know. Here's an example, from our creative brothers at Saatchi & Saatchi, Auckland: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i7BEXoVgWGk
Discrimination is so out of fashion that I feel obliged to be kind enough and offer full recognition to these passionate-beyond-reason boys and girls from Hamburg, Scholz & Friends family: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qz_kwPMEo5A&feature=related
cocks and cheese graters, diarrhea and your grandmother, wanking in front of your parents, more please... it's what makes watching this arm of David Brents tolerable oz
Anybody who hasn't attended a WCRS choir session on a tuesday night at All Saints Holborn is genuinely missing out on the most surreal side of advertising out there. It's a powerfully religious service that about three quarters of the agency really get stuck into.
I watched half of this is this morning, felt sick and had to switch it off. Now some 5 hours later I'm feeling up to watching the rest of this car crash and it's gone.

Ha ha ha! Oh, those wacky ad-types up at McCann's Manchester! Doesn't that look a FUN place to work? Ho ho ho.
Doesn't make me want to stab myself in the eyes at all.
Hmmm.
Here's an idea then. What songs could other agencies sing?
For F**k Sakes!
What's with the 2 fellas high-fiving each other in the loo?
I'd expect that sort of things off the Greeks, but honestly McCann's Manchester... one question...
Where's your self re-cocking-spect?
Eh?
the scariest thing is that its recently posted... what are they doing, their has to be a good reason?
Come on ENTERTAIN us!
This is a year old...
Thank god we aren't all like that outside the M25.
There's no book in Campaign cos Hey, as Claie "Hot Chocolate" Beale said last night "Everyone's a winner"
The frightening thing is, somebody at McCann's thought that was a GOOD idea.

Oh how I feel proud working for a regional agency.
I freelanced there about 15 years ago. The work was a bit pony but what an incredible place. It's this dirty great stately home in the middle of leafy Cheshire. Tennis courts, swimming pool. Can I sue these people for damaging my health?
Further proof, if it were needed, that the North is full of twats.
No offence.
Because it's so crap! That's why we talk about it. Advertising now has been changed, crap stuff actually gets attentions.

Glad I live in NZ
Right, cos there're no mindless, cheesy, me-too advertising types in New Zealand - nooooooo
This is the best thing I've seen in years.
It makes me so happy not to be working there.
I think I'll make my team watch it every time someone complains about anything.
Anyone who's ever worked down at McCann Manchester (me included) knows the best thing about that place...
It's got a fucking good canteen, crackin food.
Pity about everything else.

Fuck!

I'm gutted.
So embarrassed they took it down, now that's a guilty agency walking off with their tail between their legs.
