Today I've added a link on my blogroll to digital creative team Barry & Troy.
They've done this drawing of Wolverine on the shitter, which I like.
And Superman reading a book.

why don't you give them a break scamp.
don't big them up to us, if you like them hire them.
Here are my three favourite punchlines:
'If she finds her way home, don't fuck her.'
'Not half as surprised as the Invisible Man.'
''Just pack 'em and fuck off.'
each to their own, thats all i have to say scamp.
How's your Barnados ad Scamp?
Good illustrator behind them. Still, as far as conceptual creativity goes... Well, you never said if they were looking for a first job or another job, but you said "young team", so I guess it's the first. We're waiting to see what the poet's message is.
I like these, and looking at their work they seem quite interesting. Lots of modern media used, but having said that, not that many big ideas, or if there are they're hard to spot.
my point exactly
CORRECTION. I said they are a young team looking for a job. In fact, they aren't young, and they already have a job. Sorry about that. Anyway, I still like the illustrations.
yes, they are nice. With a good idea behind, they could work well. They reminded me of these:

Brilliant!
Sorry I meant to say shiite, as Wolverine is doing.
nice one b, good drawing.
These illustrations were done by a friend of mine and very talented illustrator called David Tiongson.
There were many executions I thought of for this - Judge Dredd fixing his bike in the garage, Robin in a treehouse, Batman polishing his Batmobile etc… etc… also if there was enough time there would be a lot more detail, I love detail.
This was a proactive campaign for Comic Con – as in 2006 there was some kind of competition to enter for their advertising – work and time prevented anything complete to come of this, which is a shame.
The idea I was toiling with was ‘Go behind the scenes at comic Con’. But as I mention in my blog I was sparring with myself on this one and as I wrote earlier work and time.
Troy, you can still develop the context and associate it all with a brilliant idea and you'd be amazed what a great job they would do for some other brand. (In case anything concrete strikes me, I promise to contact you.)
Exactly, I have realised with Barry that this could work in many other ways - perhaps something like Superheroes losing their day jobs???
or imagine Wolverine advising Obama... from THIS position.
these are no different to what some of the more adult Marvel comic artists have done in the past. whats so special about these?
David Tiongson.
